i am thinking this is some kind of boost leak but I will see what you guys think. At idle with car in park I rev the engine and it does so normally. now when I am in drive and punch it, I can really hear my turbos spool up....more noticable than normal. But when I release the gas, it sounds as if I have a blow off which I don't. in the recent weeks I have notice more turbo lag and lack of power as well. In the morning during cold starts, when I tap on the gas, the car seems to hiccup and RPM's drop really low then rise back up. I do have an open air intake which I know will give me more sound, but this sound has gotten louder over the course of time after the install of the intake. Oh lastly, usually in the morning cold start, I hear a crackling sound under my car. Is that normal?? Any help would be reatly appreciated. I need to know whats going on.

you do have a leak and your turbos will over spool to compensate.

You need to do a low pressure test to find the leak.
It may simpley be the TBB at the top front of the engine where the diverters are attached.

tha is where I figured it would be coming from if any place. Well I've been driving the car for about a week with that happening. Is there any chance I've fried the turbos? Can I drive lightly back and forth to work until I take it in and have it looked at?
