View Full Version : Vag com data dump (follow on to my O2 sensor post). How screwed am I?

Below is a data dump from vag-com. I've read scary things that this could mean turbos cooked? Also, in addition to the info below the car doesn't start.

17539 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B2 S1: Internal Resistance too High
P1131 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

17521 - Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor; B1 S1: Internal Resistance too High
P1113 - 35-10 - - - Intermittent

16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 - -

16686 - Cylinder 2: Misfire Detected
P0302 - 35-00 - -

16688 - Cylinder 4: Misfire Detected
P0304 - 35-00 - -

you could be looking at a MAF but Vag Com block 32 would be the dead giveway.

I'll check block 32 when I get home today but my guess is that when it checked block 32 it output "no fault codes" like many others. Wouldn't this fault code show up in the main list with the other fault codes? Thanks for your input.

I only did a "scan" which didn't provide any block 32 info. Perhaps I should have ran a different test? I returned the vag-com to the owner already (along with a 6-pack of German beer). I guess I'll be buying my own vag-com very soon.

When was the last time the spark plugs? I had the exact same errors and new O2's and new plugs fixed em. Been running code free for 18 months.
