I am planning on getting an 2002 S4 so I need a few things clarified if you do not mind.

If I get the upgraded intercoolers from AWE and a boost controller to set the boost higher why would I need to chip the car?

Would I need 2 boost controllers; one for each turbo?

Lets say I get the AWE-Tuning turbo upgrade and get a stand alone engine management system like F-Con would the chip that comes in the kit be worthless?

Does anyone make good headers for the S4 besides LLTEK?

Could I make my own turbo kit and put IHI Turbos from the Z-Tunes Skyline on there, or would I blow the engine?

Sorry for the amount of questions but I want to make the perfect S4. I would like to reach 700HP if possible, so if anyone can help me out on how let me know.

not with stock turbos..not even with K04's.. you will need bigger, and beter intake and better exhaust.

If you are making a racer..then talk to the race builders.

One of the best to talk to, to go this big is DAHLBACKs US importer.. TJM Motorsport.
Talk to Randy.. he can not only tell you what you need, but how to do it and he can sell it to you and install it.

there is not a lot of space in the S4 engine compartment for big turbos. So there are some limiting factors.... biggest being $$$$.
