It looks like it might work on our cars. It currently only has a few supported vehicles, but Ford is among them. Ford uses a 36 munus 1 crank trigger motronic- I think the 2.7 does too.
FYI by 36 minus one, I mean for every ten degrees there is a notch on the crank sensor's magnetic exciter ring (on the flywheel) with one missing to indicate cyl#1 TDC.
It has 4 analog inputs for ignition scaling, 3 adjustable clamps for various ecu inputs such as map. Waterspray control...
Anyway, it seems like a way,way better option for tuning than a standalone. For those of us who have increased their engine's volumetric efficiency, just a customizeable ignition map would yeild a few hp.<ul><li><a href="http://www.haltech.com.au/downloads/interceptor071204_spec.pdf">Interceptor specs sheet</a></li></ul>
