I read in an earlier post about this turbo hybrid. Couple of questions.

How much horsepower would you get on an other wise stock car with the hybrid turbos? I understand the TIP transmission is rated to 315hp, will it exceed this?

Would you have to upgrade the cooling?

Are they easy enough to install for a semi-n00b with access to lifts? (Auto skills center on AF base)

Where is a good place to buy them if I decide to go that way?

What parts would you upgrade/replace to a stock 2.7T, besides the turbos? What if I left the K03's alone?

-Your horsepower gains with only adding the turbos will be almost nothing. At most, I'd say 15 hp or so. No worries about the transmission.

-No cooling upgrades needed, although it's never a bad idea to upgrade the intercoolers.

-Not an easy install at all. You need to pull the motor. People have done it, but no one would ever call it easy for a first timer.

-I wouldn't replace the turbos when stock unless you have a problem with them...there's no point really.
