I can't decide between these two engines.

How is the reliability of the 3.2 on the MK2?

It certainly has more punch and makes the car feel like a more serious sports car IMO.

The mpg is pretty bad but coming from a TT 225 the 2.0 doesn't seem very quick, and the sound/feel is a bit harsh.

Defnitly the 3.2 over the 2.0

but the gas makes up for it. It was also very tourque-y, moreso low down than the 3.2 I hear.
