My last oil change I decided to try an engine flush. Keep in mind the car is now at 103.000 miles. Always did regular full synthetic oil changes between 3k and 5k.
Skeptical I was of gimmicks but I thought what the hell.
So after running Run Rite for 5 minutes in the engine and putting in Castrol 5w50 (5W30 when winter gets around) full synthetic, my temps are always on 200 degrees and go up to 225 only when I hammer on the way home. I have never seen this temps always remaining at 200 degrees either on highway or stuck in traffic in lovely NYC.
My car was by no means sludge or anything but I guess it got out bunch of crap all over.
I worked for me just ……………my 2 cents.
