Anyone knows is it possible to use crankshaft (from Tip on Tip or from MT on MT) from 8E 3.0L on ours 2.8L?

Yes the 3.0 crank will fit and spin over, BUT when you attach the connecting rods it will not clear the side of the block. Sorry
