View Full Version : What sparkplugs are you using? Most of the archives are for 1.8's. I just installed them last week so I can't say how good they'll be long term, but so far so good. Although, if I was to buy them again I would buy once pre-gapped closer to .030" . These were gapped at something like .050" and it was a pain the regap them that much. indigoblauB5 12-10-2004, 11:07 AM still early days, but I think I like the Beru better. The NGK seem a hair smoother, but I don't think they pull quite as strong as the Beru (subtle difference I admit), and 1st estimate is I'm down 1+ mpg on freeway. The NGK part # is NGK-BKR6EIX-11, factory gap (regapping iridiums makes me nervous, center electrode is thin and brittle). Before the Beru I had Denso iridiums, liked them at the time (tried the Ultra-X just for fun). Steve 30V 2.8 Chimpzilla 12-12-2004, 09:52 PM Boba Fett 01-01-2005, 12:00 PM |
