View Full Version : What weight oil do you guys use in the winter? 99.5 audi 12-01-2004, 05:53 PM BHase 12-01-2004, 09:06 PM akula-ssh 12-01-2004, 09:14 PM akula-ssh 12-01-2004, 09:14 PM BHase 12-01-2004, 11:49 PM I should've probably stated that I only drive my car for about one of the three winter months, since I generally am in Germany for a good part of the winter, and the car ends up sitting in a garage. So then I put in the 15 weight oil. Ben Schumiusedtowin 12-02-2004, 08:46 AM 99.5 audi 12-02-2004, 10:48 AM I'am finishing a auto rx flush stage with dino, was just wondering what everyone was using. I use 5W-40 most all year around. I tried 0W-40 this summer I like it, just want to know if anyone used it in the winter. Thanks BHase 12-03-2004, 10:27 AM I want to get some sort of high quality race-type oil, and just use it for a summer and see if I like it. They have stuff that goes up to $15/quart.
