Advance Auto has Valvoline synpower buy one get one free until September 1. It comes out to $2.74/quart, plus tax. I just went to my local store and they claim to have never heard of 5w-40 and that Advance does not carry it.

It would be a good deal if your local store employs halfway intelligent people.
