I have a 2001 1.8t a4. I need to replace the sensor at the back of the engine on the top behind the intake. I believe it is called the advanced timming sensor. I cant find it anywhere anyone know of a different name or where I can get one? Thanks Jayme

the only thing that I can think of is the solenoid on the camshaft chain tensioner

Kind of like a double check.

Its the only way to have non batch fire fuel injection and non waste spark ignition.

It needs to know exactly which cylinder is where.

because they are telling it two different things.
