New Audi owner here.

I got a checkup of my '98 A4 a couple of weeks ago and the garage recommended that I get an engine decarb for $300.

My mates reckon they saw me coming and that I would be better using 44k and Seafoam.

I haven't taken the car back to the garage yet. I was wondering whether anyone has any instructions for decarbonising using these products, or whether I should be using other products instead. Or even if I should cough up and pay the $300.
