soon to be newbie audi owner.

Trying to do the best DD I can, but still can't find the best comparison charts between years. I can't decide between a 2001 that has the TB/ and turbo just fixed ($12,000 with 65k miles) or a 2003 ($15,600 with 51k miles)

If for some reason anybody wouldn't mind throwing in their opinion, it sure would be appreciated.

The 2003 will have the variable valve timing (VVT) which is a plus if you plan on upgrading the car 2002 is slightly higher rated than '03 and '03 is better than '01 according to the car section of consumerreports.org but you must be a subscriber to view that much. You must get the Quattro 6sp version '02 and if your really interested in adding all the bells and whistles an 'O3 model with the same aforementioned configuration just to get the VVT.

Around 60k there is a required timing belt kit check out the ultimate kit on www.ecstuning.com

Again low miles is the way to go under 40k at least and you must have the Quattro 6sp it's like night and day...
