i figure 4-5 grand minus whatever i can sell my current stuff (ko4 and test pipe) for later.

racetech fmic
gtrs eliminator (or GT2X if it stays reasonably efficient to redline)
spp ported manifold or similar. i want the polish inside the runners to help manage heat. i'll also have it coated with swain tech's white lightning. the same goes for the airbox heat shield, high flow cat, and downpipe.
samco or neuspeed silicone turbo inlet

-oilstat controlled oil cooler with fan. this will mount in the same place as the stock smic. the fan will help at autocrosses and after lapping sessions on the track. keeping the oil between 200 and 250 is paramount to me.
-new temp control for electric fans.
-coolant flush and fill. water wetter or similar.
-catch can with oil separator.

although i haven't seen any data to support it, i would guess that the GTRS is going to be more efficient at higher rpms. a bigger exhaust wheel does that. coupled with the upgraded oil cooling and some serious attention to thermal management should get me a quick little car that is equally adept sitting in a traffic jam, cruising on long road trips, or playing at the track all day.

after this is all done i may look for a "winter project" block to build with , hi-tech rings, stronger rods, swain coated pistons and combustion chambers, and a port matched head. then i'm rokken like dokken! an all out endurance racer powertrain for the street.
