my electric fan kit. its holding at 12volts with lights on and fan running. but it will only be a matter of time before it kills the alternator or the battery.

I think the EFK is more trouble than its worth...higher oil temps and it pulls too many amps for the alternator.

you may need to change the plugs on the wirng harness.

I'm going to try and ride this out. Not change anything out yet. I getting my 180 fan switch put in tomorrow. I'm going to see how things go and how it holds up.

There is a guy in NH on exit 7 of route 3...boomer mccloud or sometihng...he is a car audio shop, says that for about 400-500 he can get one done up with about 250+amps without making anymods to the housing! havent tried him out yet, but from what he has showed me he has done some pretty big installs and has worked on audis alot with a huge system, and for what is going into my ride, he needs to be on point with the charging system otherwise none of it will work and i will be back for a very expensive refund! lol
