I'm in the beging work of making my new motor for when i blow the stock one. I have a new head on its way with a port job already done. I think i will continue a little bit of the porting and am thinking of going to oversized valves, however want to get springs, valves, and cams figured out before i go to any more porting or matching, who knows about oversized valves and spring sets and all the hardware required/where to obtain so i can start getting things together

I wanna build a rat 1.8 head i know it's only a 1,8 but come on man lets make it flow better than it should, lets as the forum calls it develope the 1.8 to its full potential

I am still running stock valves while pushing 550 hp and plan on pushing even more with this setup.

I only know 1 guy running larger valves, so you might want to talk to the aussy Lucas and he is running that on a 2 liter.
