What would happen if I was to purchase a k04 turbo by itself along with a 5bar fpr and add it to a chipped car? or should I go back to stock programming? I've looked a bit on the subject, but I figured that someone has experience in this matter. Would I really need to get a new chip programmed for a k04? thanks.

flash the chip with a program that was written for it...

The turbo itself would be fine, but the regulator would cause you to run too rich and possibly throw codes for 02 sensors not knowing what's going on and having fuel trim far lean and metering rich. Anyways go stand alone much easier than dealing with companies and chips

I guess instead of buying my k04 in pieces in order to save a few pesos, I'll just get a kit.
or maybe just buy somthing else. I dunno. It seems there are too many choices, not too good at decision making.
