since there is no real answer. I run my ported AEB head up to 7800+ rpms all the time at the drags and have been well over 8k rpms on a missed speed shift. I also plan on pushing my rev limiter to nearly 8500+ rpms so I can run push my 3rd gear over 116 mph.

high mileage and heavily abused motors will probably start floating at an earlier RPM point, but I haven't had any problems running it up to 7500

used AEB with the stock valves and stock valve springs in it. I guess we will see how well it holds up with the 8500 rpm 3rd gear pulls.
