OEM VW 2.0 Airflowmeter / MAF - VAG Part# 06A906461A 06A 906 646 1A
This MAF MAY work for stock 1.8T's, but not for chipped or K04's.
DO NOT USE. Your car will run rich even with a
AFPR.

But How Huch Larger?
the problem is that the i have a AFPR set to 57 PSI(with no hose at idle for a 5 bar GIAC program. I would rather use the Right Part FIRST. then TUNE.
This is a warning, just a FYI for others that would like to save money. Use that right parts not the cheapest.
I will keep this one on hand for a while in case my new one does not work/goes bad.

you do realize that 57PSI = about 3.9bar give-or-take a few hundreths

I Just got the correct MAF VAG Part# 06A906461L.
The Idle is the same but now thew acceleration is smoother and Boost is consistantly above 16 psi.
I also ajusted the FPR to 5 BAR(73psi.) No Check Engine Light. Smooth Power. I pays to use the correct Parts.
I could have made it work with Lemminwinks but I would rather Have the car tuned and then tweek it from there.

It's been done many times on 1.8Ts and 2.7Ts without issue.

of tuned with lemmiwinks or something like that and imo that is ghetto.... just shell out 45 more dollars and get the right maf remanufactured and fine tune it correctly rather than having to band aid the car from being cheap.

or maybe the EGT sensor that only goes up to 995 degrees.
the point i am trying to make is that messing around with lemmiwinks while looking at your vag-com is not the way to calibrate an ecu to run a maf its not setup to run or much less tune a car to run perfectly with one. the vag-com gives you an idea of what is going on but not the whole story. most people on here buying the VW MAF arent going to have a wideband or anything needed to tune the A/F ratio correctly.
