I've spent an hour or so searching this and other forums for this easy answer, but I must be using bad keywords, so I apologize for what I'm sure is a duplicate post.
I need to replace pads on my '03 A6 2.7T with 75k. The fronts were replaced right before my warr expired, so I probably only need rears, but I planned to do all 4 corners. My rotors all have some decent grooves in them, so I was going to replace them as well. I'm not looking for high performance, just decent quality and less dust (prolly ceramic pads).
Questions:
1. Can I resurface rotors, or is it better to just replace them? Cheap ones appear to start at like $40 each.
2. I have the stock 17" rims, how do I know which rotor size to choose?
3. Does my pad selection have to match my rotor size?
4. Any other recommendations?
