Here is an interesting article I found on them

Seems like a really good advancement in brake technology that will allow for BBK upgrades without having to get larger rims. I posted about these on the S4 forum and there seemed to be no interest at all. Personally, I'd love to hear more about these and the possibility of using them on our cars. I don't know much about how calipers are mounted but as long as these fit in the space, can they be easily mounted to work in most cars?

spent the last few months talking to several engineers and other folks at AP about a kit to fit my '03 S6 with stock 17" Avus and repeatedly got the same answer: No go. Gotta go to larger wheel, then we can talk. Whether Radi-Cal was not presented as a potential alternative because of availability or cost, I don't know but clearly it's a long way off from being an off-the-shelf aftermarket bbk upgrade option.

them specifically about the new radi-cal system? or can refer me to who you talked to so I can ask? it seems like something they do plan on developing in the near future for regular consumption so I think it's worth asking about again. Have you looked into Brembo GTR calipers as well? I know they are a bit smaller than conventional calipers but not sure if they would fit either. They definitely make a setup available for my B5 S4 though. Thanks again for the response.

He said it's only available for limited race applications right now. Hope they do something because the GTR's are racing calipers too but they have a setup designed to work on B5 S4's...

very responsive people, though. Refreshing.

be overkill for a street car. It's a racing caliper, & it will be difficult to get proper pads.

Why not go with a proven kit like the Brembo's?

make very special when I do and after looking at the prices, it's not that big of a difference to go w/ the GTR setup over their regular GT upgrades anyway.
