I just went out to reposition my car in the driveway for a nice washing and while moving it, noticed that the digital display on my Bose system is acting "funky". For example, instead of it reading "CD03TR6", for CD 2, track 6, it just reads "D03TR6". In short, where there should be pixels(for the purpose of forming letters/numbers) there isn't, and where there shouldn't be pixels, there is a few. What is going on? Anybody have this problem or heard anything about it? This is my 99' w/only a little over 1K miles!
JT 99' 1.8Tqms

That happeneds to me once and it has apparentely happened to other people here as well. It went away the next time I drove the car, I assume a quick off and then on and it will go away.
I have 7500 miles on my A4 and it's happened only once to me. I'm not too bothered by it yet :)

Hey Josh,
LED stands for light emitting diode. An example of LEDs are those rear spoilers with the built-in third brake lights. The radio and the A/C in the A4 uses LCD, which stands for liquid crystal display.
Hope this helps.

James Wu
A4 Club of Vancouver
1998 Black/Onyx 1.8tqa

A4 Club of Vancouver

I've seen this happen once on my 1998 2.8 the first time it was pretty cold out (below freezing). It went away as the car warmed.
-- Paul
