ok, i've asked this question once before, but never got a satisfactory answer.

I need track pads for my stoptech 332 kit. the car is chipped, has suspension, and this is the last event (next fri) where the car will be run on street tires. after this i'll be using R comps.

its been suggested that I run pagid orange or a performance friction compound. should I only upgrade the fronts, and leave HPS's in the OE rear?

tia!

I would put pagid orange on the front ..and Ferodo 2500s on the rear. That is what I am doing for track.

Up to about 550 oC, the coefficient of friction of the Pagid RS4-4 Orange does increase with temperature. IMHO, higher (or grabby) is better. The only problem is that the front and rear brakes rarely run at the same temperature (rear runs cooler), which means that brake bias will vary unpredictably as the pads come up to temperature.
