new seals and slider pin bushings?

I have moderate mechanical skill and this was an easy repair.

The calipers locked up due to salt getting inside the torn boots on the slide pins.

Worked the pins out carefully, cleaned them, lubed everything, and put new kits on that contained everything needed for the rebuild. Have at least 100,000 miles on the repair with no problems.

At the time, the calipers were selling for around $290, the kits were $7.50 each at the dealership.

When I was in for another part, I overheard one of the countermen tell another customer that the calipers could not be repaired. I let him know that they could, and that they stocked the parts to do it. He seemed honestly surprised when he found the parts were available and in stock.
