Anyone have any experience with Carbotech Bobcats? I'd like to know if they have the same or better performance variables vs. stock, if they dust less, and if they are quiet.
Are there any other aftermarket brake pads available for the B5 S4?

The bobcats on the front actually dust less then the rear now (and much much less then the old stock fronts). I really don't notice any difference in stopping power but most seem to think the Bobcats stop about 10% better (compared to stock). I don't get any noise because I used some "disk brake quiet" on the back of the pads and bedded them well. Don't use too much "disk brake quiet" as I found it makes the pads stick in the calipers when you want to change them. When I put in Carbotech Panther+ pads for the track, I notice a measurable increase in stopping power (and a ton of dust from the track pads). If you want low dust, go for the Bobcats. If you want much better stopping power then stock pads, you may have to look at something else (they are not worse then stock though).

just received EBC Yellow Stuff 'R'. I was told I'm the first to receive them and was asked to reveiw for EBC as I am going to Watkins Glen this coming week. These pads are ceramic composite and are supposed to be good at both low and high temps. Very quiet and low dust with no rotor wear.
Will advise after track run.
