On Saturday, my front brakes were upgraded with Boxster 986 calipers, A8 rotors, Hawk HPS pads and ss-lines. Huge thanks go to GhostRider 18TQR and PikeJerky for installing them. I felt kinda bad as I ended up as more of an observer rather than a helper. Overall, the installation went very smoothly. We ran into a couple minor roadblocks which were quickly remedied by some good ideas (thank God for Dremel tools :) ). I also had my rear rotors and pads replaced.

I don't have a full review on them yet as I'm still bedding them in. But, overall pedal feel has improved. From the few hard stops that I did, they are much more aggressive. Bite is better too. I think that my ABS will be getting more of a workout now. :)

at least, not without spacers. BIRA shows that 16" ET45 generally will not fit. They also list a '99 16" Sport wheel (which I believe are the Swing wheels) as not able to clear without a minimum 5mm spacer. But I could have sworn that Liam fit some 16's on his car but I can't remember if he had spacers or not.

LA Porsche Dismantlers (http://www.911pcar.com/) sells stuff on ebay. I paid $300 US at the time but it seems like they're going for around $400 now.

...at least that's what he told me when I asked the same question just before I did this upgrade.
