I have a pair of two-piece Brembo racing rotors with slots on them. They may be warped. They are pretty new (~500 miles on them... couple track days). Can slotted or drilled rotors be turned? If so, any recommendations around Boston? Thanks.

there's some kind of warranty on those. Even if there's not a specific warranty, I'd hope Brembo would do the right thing in this case.

...it was warped, and it cost $8 to get it turned at a local hole-in-the-wall shop. That's a lot less headache than getting another one shipped to me.

before I installed them about a month ago. I'm not sure I'll get these replaced for free. In fact, Brembo discontinued this particular rotor ring. Unfortunately, I can't even order another pair even if I were willing to pay. The place I bought this kit won't sell me anymore rotors for this kit. Damn, I'm stuck.

Back to the brakes... the first pair of rotors were indestructable... lasted over 20 track days. I'm puzzled why these went so quickly. They already have hairline heat-stress cracks.

...any change in the dial indicator is "runout". Something like .00X you won't notice.

Something like .X you will...
