Are AXXIS and PBR the same pads??? Anyone please.

FMP Group Australia has an extremely complicated history of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, ... and names. They manufacture both Axxis and PBR brake pads (along with Mintex, Bendix, and other brands).

Axxis and PRB have separate histories, but they now share technology and manufacturing. Historically, Axxis and PBR were not the same pads, now I'm not sure. For example, I believe the Axxis Ultimate and PBR Ceramic are the same compound. <a href="http://www.importrp.com/pbr.html">Here</a> they just call them "PBR Axxis" brake pads and say <i>"Note: The FMP Group Australia Pty. Ltd., is the manufacturer of Axxis and PBR brand brake pads; these pads are identical."</i> ECS says something similar <a href="http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/pagebuild_v2.cgi?html=info-Braking-Pads.html&make=Audi&model=B5%20S4&submodel=Avant&engine=2.7T">Here</a>.
