Looking to upgrade the front brakes on my Coupe Quattro with A8 (312x25) rotors and porsche calipers. Are all 996 calipers (ie: C2, C4, Turbo) the same? Pretty sure the turbo used a bigger caliper, but not sure about the C2 and C4. Are they the same on the boxter as well? Which caliper will work with the A8 rotor? Can someone explain the differences between the calipers?
Thanks in advance...

How do the 986 4 pot monoblocks compare to the 996 ones? As an upgrade to my stock g60's, would it be worth going only with th 986 calipers? ie - would I notice much of an improvement in braking?

going bigger in the brake area usually causes problems with wheel fitments and such. The 996 setup allows you to run a bigger and wider rotor for better heat disapation and great braking force from the larger rotor 13.1 vs 12.3. You could run the 986/312 set up and always upgrade to the 13.1 rotors with the brackets from bira, ecs or evoms.
