very high friction for a street pad.

At the moment, though, I'm using up some leftover Pagid's -- RS4-2-1 Black in the front, and RS4-2 Blue in the rear. These are fine, but imho, the Ferodo is better.

I have no idea how much of the technology and/or pad compounds are common across the brands.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tmdfriction.com/index.jsp">TMD Friction</a></li></ul>

Ran them for about a week before I did a track event at Carolina Motorsports Park and while they held up fine on the track, now they just don't have enough bite for me. I like being able to stop the car with the ball of my foot, not with my whole body weight.

Searched on this topic and I found alot of people experiencing the same thing, the pads would "change" after track use and then they would dust more and the friction level would go down.

I ordered DS2500s this morning :)

And Randy I appreciate the research and info you've provided on this board-- made my decision quite easy.

I had Hawk HPS, and I prefer the Porsche pads to the Hawk HPS. ;o)

...I'm using HPS for the street at all 4 corners now, and they're just a tad above Audi's OEM pads IMO, although they do dust a little bit less.

I did not give a # for them to contact to buy I just give my opinion which I stand behind inwhich Resma also does since they send their pads to AudiSport to use. Why are you so hard headed with something you have never have tried but maybe MinTex Crap box is the best you have ever tried.

Remsa Gold pads and Bladi rotors all the way around for under $400.00 shipped. There is not another pad/rotor combo for the $$$ that can touch this combo. Maybe if you spend $1000 or whatever on some StopTechs. But my brake combo will last atlest 5yrs with hard driving, will yours?

both seem pretty good for their respective purposes.

Try either <a href="http://www.essexparts.com/">Essex</a>, <a href="http://www.raceshopper.com/ferodo_compounds.shtml">Raceshopper</a>, or <a href="http://www.northamericanraceparts.com/">North American RaceParts</a>. Essex had the best prices last year.
