Drilled? Slotted? Both?

FYI - I have a 2001 A6 2.7T that is now over 50k, so bye-bye brake warranty coverage. Next time the rotors warp, I will be looking at alternatives. TIA for your help!

For the street any rotor will work just fine, slotted, plain, drilled. You won't hardly notice any difference. Slotted and drilled may produce a bit more dust, and/or wear the pads out a bit quicker. But performance wise they're pretty comparable.
