found a set used but I need to know how much lower the car will sit.

If you dont want a drop in ride height then get Bilstein shocks. They come with spacer that supports the lower spring plate. You can order additional spacers from Bilstein and stack two or more on the shock. Each spacer is about .66' inches so one should get you almost to stock height. I'm in the process of doing the same.
