I have a thunking noise coming from the drivers front wheel whenever i hit a bump in the road on my 2000 S4, manual. She has 55k miles and it looks like a control arm is the suspect but i havent gone over all the ball joints yet. Where is the best place to get these parts from, I know blauparts has a kit for 600 but is it junk or what. Is OEM parts the best and can you only get them from the dealer. Also its time for a timing belt, is blau the best with there kit or is the dealer the best, plus what special tools do u need for the timing belt.
