Hey guys I'm new to Audiworld so I'm not sure if this question has been answered or not but here goes...

I just recently put B5 S4 wheels on my 2001 Audi 2.8L Quattro. Will the recommended Koni coil-over kit by TireRack fit on my car or will I have to browse under the B5 S4 category? If anyone can let me know that would be great. Thanks!

you would rather have something meant for an S4 than a 1.8T since the 2.8 is closer in weight and weight distribution to the S4.

Looking at tirerack, I don't see the Koni coilovers even listed for the S4 or the 1.8T. This must mean there is only 1 kit that serves for all 3. Looking at another shop, indeed I see one part # listed for 1.8T, 2.8 and 2.7T.

If you were to go with H&R coilovers, there are different part numbers, one for the 1.8T, another for the 2.8/2.7T. Either will fit, the heavier cars get a different spring rate.
