I've had mine for a few months now. I have a B5 A4MQ. I actually wanted Bilstiens but the shop put in the Koni's and I didn't realize it until a couple of weeks after the work was done (I was in Europe on business). Not too thrilled actually b/c I wanted a little more ride height than what I got with the Koni's. Especially in the back. I barely get a 2 finger gap with mine.

Performance? Not too much improvement from stock. If I were to do it over again, I'd either go with Coil-Overs (for the adjustable height) or not do it at all.

to the stock setup? Which Konis did the shop put on? Doesn't sound like the Sports.

There was not much difference in ride and sportiness. Height was much lower than I wanted. 1 1/2 finger gap in rear (not what I wanted) and 2 finger in front (ok for most part).

I wanted something with a slight drop and got more than I bargained for. If possible, I may switch to Bilsteins to get the height I want. But otherwise, I'm not as happy with the setup as I'd like.

I think I could've gone with a beefier sway bar as well. Does the S4 have a stiffer bar than the A4?

beefier. From what I understand, the Koni Sports w/ Vogtland springs will drop the car about an inch. Did you have the Koni Sports (yellows) or reds installed?

Aren't those adjustable? I know not in height but in rebound?

I went with the eibachs b/c I didn't want too harsh a ride. I also thought these would drop closer to the height on the Sport Package. This is not the case.

Still determining what to do b/c I don't know if taking replaceing the Eibachs will be worth the $$. If I could sell the Konis and/or the Eibachs, I might do that. We'll have to wait & see how new tires look and go from there.

maybe yours are set too soft for your liking? I would check that before deciding to upgrade. All the reviews I've read on these shocks is that the handling was greatly imporved, bodyroll reduced, etc.

As far as I know, the springs will not determine ride harshness.
