just wondering what type of coilovers anyone recomends. I want an aggressive ride and good quality. Looking to spend upto $1500. I can get teins or eibachs for around $1000. Or is there something else I should be looking at.

What type of performance/handling are you looking for?

It's a 2006 A4 2.0T Quattro. I want something that has aggressive handling and performance without going to "track only" suspension (it is my road car), however, performance is a lot more important to me than comfort. I'm also wondering what spring rates I should be looking at? Thanks

I have no experience with Eibachs, but I can tell you that Vogtland customers are very happy with their choice. They are also in stock and availabe for immediate shipment.
Spring rates by themselves do not tell the whole story. Best thing is to take a ride in someone elses car.
We found the Vogtlands to be agressive, but street friendly. I would stay away from TEIN and FK. Koni tends to be little softer.

Link (click me)

Thanks for the info.
Why do you recommend staying away from Tein?

Really funky spring rates, I will suspect massive understear.
