2002 quattro 1.8t sport suspension

Do you know how many spring coils are in the back ? 5, 6, 7 ?

ANY OTHER production year ? does anyone know how many spring coils are there ?

I have 2002 A4 1.8t quattro with sport suspension.
I was in the accident so shop had to replace righ rear suspension.(that is what they claim, but I think they might have replaced both sides) After replacement the car seats about one inch higher than before, I compared with all my friends and my pictures on the car, we measured distance with everyone...something is wrong...went to Audi to verify parts for my car. And apperently they are all fine....

My color coding on the spring is
blue and 3 pink in the rear. and apperently is right....what is your color coding ???
Could they be VW parts ?
Does anybody know what could be the problem ?
Why my car seats higher by that much ?
Can this be adjusted ?
Maybe other parts than springs come in play here ?

Maybe you should change your subject line to indicate that's what you're after in that post?

Is there any chance they've given you non-sport springs. MY02 cars do sit lower than all other years (especially MY03, IIRC), but not by a full inch. The only other thing I could think of is if the springs aren't seated properly on the rubber rubber seats, since the their ends aren't flat (like on most coilovers) and have a step; that's unlikely though.

The foam 'helper springs', if to long, will hold the suspension up higher than it should be also.
