i have an '01 2.8 and i am looking to upgrade the suspension. i am caught between the koni/vogtland kit and the bilstein/H&R kit. i was wondering if i can have some input on which would have a better ride quality and perform better.

According to my friend's experients....

bilstein/H&R kit.......it would be more comfortable...

koni/vogtland kit.....it should be more stiff than bilstein/H&R kit.....

actually....koni shocks are soft also....but you go with vogland springs......that should give you more aggressive performance....

Your original springs with good shocks will out perform both!
