Vital stats:
2002 1.8Tqsm
oem sports suspension
68k miles
Not interested in dropping the car. I'm happy with the ride height, and the roads + snow give me enough grief as it is. Car is very floaty and the suspension just feels tired in the twisties. Wan to go back to making the car feel new and spry again.
Considering replacing shocks only. Can anyone compare / contrast for me?
Bilstein's (what is the difference between regular and HD?)
Koni Sports
Koni FSD's
Springs - Is there ANY reason to replace my oem sport springs? Even with new oem parts? IIRC, 2002 B6's were the lowest of them all. Does that mean there are different part numbers for 2002 springs or did Audi just change the spring design after 2002? If it is not necessary to change springs I wont bother considering I do not want to lower the car. If new springs are recommended, what the options? have heard negative things about H&R's that sag. Want something robust and will last, with the least drop available if I have to remove the oem springs.
