Can anyone tell me if my 97 A4 2.8 AWD will accept a S4 spring/strut/swaybar directly? I figure this maybe better alternative getting stiffer spring, not lower the car too much and have improved handling. If this is a "bad idea" what will be your recommendation. THANK YOU.

BTW, the A4 will serve as "backup" track vehicle. I do expect her to see the track but ride will mostly be daily ride.

have used the sport suspension from a 1.8T on their 2.8. I plan on doing it soon. The complete suspension can be found for about $150-$200 shipped.

How do I know if my car came w/ the sport or normal suspension? Are there any visible identifications?

OK that not exactly helpful :-( Are there marking on the spring to identify them between sport vs regular??
