so, since i was adjusting my control arms, i decided to lower my car a tad more.

I am currently running at a tad over 25.5 on all corners. I actually want to run at about 25 at the lowest, but maybe put it at 25.25.

So, I jack up the car put it on stands. Lower the first perch nut.. then start turning the top lower perch nut.. and turning. and turning.

Howerver, after may like 5 or 6 rotations, I counted threads and measured.. still the same height.

I am a bit confused. According to the Stasis Docs, the SS are adjustable while on the car. I have searced a little and a few have said that the SS are not height adjustable on the car.

What is the easiest way to ajust the height? I want to drop it about another .25 to .50 inches.

if you are working on the back ones first, make sure the little set screws that are the bottom peice of the collar that sits on the car are tight. If these set screws are loose the bottom peice will just spin around. (this is for the b6 chasis). I think there are 2-3 set screws. The front should adjust without a problem seeing as the bottom of the coilover is fixed in place to the lower control arm.

Your process sounds correct. If the perch IS turning, but not going up or down, then the threads might be stripped.

chances are you are doing something wrong. Koni will send you another spring perch, as that is what would be stripped.

I will try the other side. Which I think they both did the same thing.

But, if not, I guess I will give stasis a call, good thing they are only 30minutes away.. plus give me a reason to go to Sears point to fill up on some 100oct.

I was tempted to take off the shock body and maybe compress the springs. I thought maybe that there was just too much pressure on the springs.

I will find out this weekend.
