Would the race springs plus konis be an improvement?
I'm currently running the S4 avant coilovers with a 19mm rear bar on stiff.
What other race spring/shock combos should I consider?
I visited hyperco's site but I'm yet too lazy and incompetent to look up/figure out what measurements I might need.

...Here is your path of upgrade in terms of getting a setup with more "race", in order of increasing dollar amount:
H&R Ultra C/O
Bilstein PSS9 C/O
STaSIS TS C/O
PENSKE C/O (not sure if for sale yet)
STaSIS MS C/O

Double adjustability is also coming for less than MS.

...and the canisters up front are not a big deal for me.
Though seeing pictures in the rear, it sucks you can't get a smaller pressure valve fitting for the end eye so you don't have to hack the housing up that much. Though it makes checking pressure easy I guess.
I saw the pricing on your site, does the 2,595 include the springs w/ helpers and retainers? Or is it 2,595 without springs at all? Or is it 2,595 with just springs no helpers/retainers?

We are still deciding.
So here is the question: For $600 less you would get a steel (not aluminum) shock body that would come with a coilover kit as the steel body is not threaded. Everything else would be same. 40% more weight, but these things are light to begin with.
So, let me know what you think.

...honestly, in my opinion, it's only worth doing if you can get a 7100 series body threaded.
Worth asking Penske though, you never know, they may say it's not big deal.
But a drop on collar, that's just a pain in the ass and not worth the hassle (to sell).
But, a threaded 7100 steel setup with the same inverted mounting system and single adjustable at $2000 would be the sh!t. I'm not guarunteeing overnight success, but I think it's a punishing product at that price point, I know I'd buy one.
