Going to change over for the spring. Either Eibach/Koni, Eibach/Billstein. Was thinking about Vogtland C/O but but but,,,, all this has me confused. Watching these boards to get ideas. It seems to cunfuse me more, lol. I think I will just plunge and go with my first choice of Eibach/Koni. What shock settings are people running with the Konis??? Any tips?

I needed a stiffer front spring, and the S4 spring fits perfect.

Paul has S4 springs in the rear to help dial out understeer.

what was the purpose of putting stiffer ones upfront? Just a personal preference?

I've got a FWD, and the handling characteristics are slightly different than the Quattro, due to our solid rear axle.
Understeer is still awful with the A4. I'm working on increasing the rear spring rates, just waiting for some time to do it. I'll up the rear spring a bit, but since I have a lot less weight without the Quattro drivetrain, our rates aren't an even comparison vs Quattro.

and to what degree. Sorry for all the questions, I'm just trying to figure out my options for later on.

rears?
also how much % stiffer is the s4 front springs from the a4? are they linear or progressive?

S4 front 400lb, A4 FWD Front 325lb.
Nothing available for an upgrade in the rear. You'll have to resort to standard 2.5" springs with adjustable perches.

The shocks adjusted at 50% on all four wheels. Very happy with the improvement over base suspension and the ride is firm but not jarring at all. I also replaced all 4 bumpstops. Will look into sways next. The car looks better also with the drop. Eibach is modest which is why I used them. Probably not much lower than OEM Sport package. I am measuring 25.5 inches floor to fender.
