I am considering selling my B6 02 1.8 Avant 5spd, and getting an 06 Tip 2.0 Avant. My questions, would the extra 30hp of the B7 2.0, make up for the performance loss of the Tip, over the B6 5spd.

Yeah I know all of that, but have you ever tried to find a manual avant my friend - especially if you are "picky" about int/ext colors. They are VERY rare

I know 0-60 times isn't everything, but you asked if the extra 30HP in the B7 make up for the tip and the answer is yes, and then some on a straight shot 0-60 MPH. As far as on a track... dunno perhaps the less powerful manual in the hands of a skilled driver has an advantage there.
