Bad luck always come in pair!
After losing the fuel cap this morning, I was planning to go to one dealer to buy a replacement. I was not careful enough to see the tool box is opened in the garage and when I open the door of my car, I scrach it........:(
I do not want to go to body shop again as I just repaint the hood 2 months ago. I will try to do a touch up to cover it up. Although I knwo it might not be perfect.
Now, anyone can tell me how to do a touch up? or any place that I can read from?
Thanks
---charlie :(

You might try the archives. There was once a very detailed explanation of a touch-up process posted on this board - probably about 18 months ago. I can't come close to giving you all of the details, but it involved masking the scratch or nick with masking tape, and then applying multiple thin layers of touchup paint with a toothpick. The trick is to only apply what will flow into the scratch. I don't recall what was involved between coats (light sanding?). Wish I could be of more help.
Kyle
