I am going to custom fit an S4 grille into the non sline chrome surround. Someone on AZ has done it and it came out good so I am going to attempt. From what I understand you need to dremel a small amount on sides and bottom below the filler area. Above fits fine.


OK, anyone else reading this please don't flame, I really love look of that grille. And of course the price is very reasonable them compared to RS4 grilles. So trying to make it work will be relatively cheap.

I'd like to do this with an RS4 grill on mine like John S did. I want to keep the non-sline bumper because I like it better (and 99% of the A4's I see are S-line)

I was able to source a great price on an s4 grille. A lot easier to put the dremmel to. And I happen to like it. Problem is I happen to like a lot of the styling from the s4, I guess I am a poser....... I well

I will see how it comes out, maybe down the road can do the same with rs4 grille. Was thinking about maybe plasti dipping the chrome surround but I still like my chrome mirrors
