View Full Version : Can the rear valence be taken off easily? On non-sline the unpainted part on rear bumper. Thanks 2.0T Q Tip 07 02-03-2008, 06:33 AM The rear valence has two screws holding it on and then you kinda need to pop it out so u might have to pull a little but it comes out. To answer you question yes it is. I had a non sline and bought the sline one at madaudi.com and dropped it back in. Check out my link for pics of mine. Make sure the color match is correct, mine looks a tad off and have been dying to fix it.

http://www.flickr.com/photos/8260603@N05/</a

Raistlin 02-03-2008, 06:53 AM Even on stock S-line cars that piece looks different than the bumper. I was thinking of just removing that piece and having it painted and then putting back. How much did the sline valence cost you in total? (with paint) Thanks! 2.0T Q Tip 07 02-03-2008, 09:20 AM Raistlin 02-03-2008, 11:42 AM I may be getting a good favor from a friend getting my door blades painted and would love to throw that piece in. Only problem is I don't know when. I got my doorblades off an packed up ready to give to him at a moments notice, but the rear valence isn't.
