I am considering floor mats for my new '08 A4. I am thinking of the Audi mats from a dealer and also the Weather Tech all weather floor mats (I would prefer the floor liner from WT but they don't offer it for the A4). Anyone know which ones will give greater coverage (if there's a difference)? I am interested in front mats only and only for the Winter in the northeast to keep snow and related nasty stuff off the carpet - style is not an issue, function is. I'd like the area nearest the door and by the gas pedal to be well protected. Thanks.

They fit perfectly, they're really nicely made, and they clip in. I had them in my B6 and my B7 for a total of 4 Minnesota winters. If you really fill them up on some snowy, slushy day, they might spill over. But I like keeping my car like new, and I'd never go without.

I got mine at my dealer with an Audi Club discount, and Clair and others have them for less than list. But $100 for front and back is worth every penny.

I would love it if you could post some pics once they're installed. I am still not sure how much of the floor area they will cover. I had looked at some last year at my Audi dealer and they looked small. I bought some compact car aftermarket mats but they don't really do it and when there's snow I have been putting towels to the left of the mat near the door. Ugh!! Of course, my real fear is water and slop getting trapped under the mats (any mats) and that really screws up the carpet.
Thanks

I put them in the trunk over summer to better balance the F/R weight distribution. THOSE THINGS ARE HEAVY!! ;)

I have them and I love them.
