Finished installing my roll cage in preparation for World of Speed this coming week. Last year I had my fire extinguisher mounted to the roll cage and they suggested I have it in reach of the driver, so I've mounted it where the passenger seat would be. I won't have any passengers with me, so that should be fine.

Sounds like there will be the largest turnout ever for this years event. Even the Discovery Channel has built a car to run, and several camera crews are scheduled to be there as well. The Utah Travel Council is working on a new commercial and has asked to mount a camera in my car. Hopefully we can get some good footage...

I should be getting a package from APR on Tuesday morning, which I'm excited for. A quick stop at the local APR dealer for an install and re-flash and I'll be on my way...

or you take off the cage and put the back seat in to driver her on the roads or she is a track car?

My favorite part about these pictures! Even though the interior is totally stripped, the ubiquitous armrest remains in tact -- hitting the e-brake no less :)

if you can find a used one in a classifieds, they go for around $1100...figure even more from a dealer or shop

This car looks very good for a track car but I see some very interesting options in this car that defeat the purpose of a track car. For example, the navigation system and heated rear seats. Because of these two options the decision to turn this into a track car seems stupid.

Perhaps not then....

These are requred preparations to run at Bonneville each September. The car is my daily driver and will return to a 'normal' interior in October.

it's about $2500...not including the airbag.
